IFMA Hong Kong Chapter Newsletter (Oct 2022)

Dear Corporate Partners, Members and Associates,

It’s very encouraging to see that we are going to recover from COVID-19 pandemic soon, where our economic activities have been gradually progressing well. We must grip this golden opportunity to catch up with businesses we lost in the past years.

IFMA Hong Kong Chapter has worked out a series of activities such as Integrate 2022 and Government discussion forums organized by the PMSA since we have established a new board members in July 2022. This year has been a great year to all of us as we will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of IFMA Hong Kong Chapter. Our Chapter has recruited and invited successfully 28 Corporations and Companies to become our Corporate Partners. This is a record high year. In this respect, we will not be complacent about the current situation, we will keep on working harder to improve our service for all Corporate Partners, members and associates.

By doing so, we have to explore more opportunities, learning from other Corporations and Companies, particularly their innovations and sharing it with our Corporate partners, members and associates. ESG will also be one of the hot topics in our Society and our Chapter will certainly play an important role to provide professional knowledge for all members and to show that we are one of the leading professional bodies to partner with.

Regarding future events, not only we will be partnering with Corporate partners, Government (PMSA), but also with Universities in Hong Kong, such as Hong Kong Polytechnic University, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Shue Yan University and etc., in which scholars and students can share their innovations and creativity. Besides, not to mention, the provision of our IFMA Foundation Scholarship enables FM students with talents to undertake further education opportunities that may have otherwise been hard for them to access. As a socially responsible organisation, we are pleased to contribute back to the Society of Hong Kong.

All suggestions are most welcome and appreciated, and I believe together, with your contribution, we could make our Chapter more alive and interactive at all times.

Last but not least, please reserve your date tentatively in May 2023 to join our great day to celebrate our 30th Anniversary The Hong Kong Chapter.

Wish all of you a happy life, stay safe and healthy.
