Abstract :

This presentation will offer information on trends in the workplace and technology and how they might influence considerations for the type of spaces in a corporate project. We will discuss the modern workplace and how space and technology can impact the employee’s perception of a positive work environment. We use images to illustrate concepts such as huddle rooms, social space, work space, collaboration space. This is intended to be a presentation that creates discussion about the type of spaces and technology to consider for corporate projects.

Learning Objectives - At the end of the course participants will be able to:
1) Recognize trends in the modern workplace and the variety of spaces that could be in a corporate project.
2) Identify technologies used in an collaborative work environment.
3) Discuss how spaces and technology can impact the work/life balance.
4) Engage clients in a discussion to determine the type of spaces and technology required for a corporate project.
