Shaping the Future of Smart Buildings with PropTech

The explosive growth in technological advances is leading us into a new era of building management at a rapid pace. More than billions of operational data generated by a building from multiple sources can be utilised for big data analytics and its applications to streamline operation and optimise energy consumption. Building functionalities are elevated with the purpose-fit applications that address the pressing needs of property owners, facility managers and building occupants in respond to dynamic challenges facing the industry. Smart building technologies provide a user-centric approach that connects everyone in the building with the building. More details on IoT network, big data analytics, energy optimisation, and smart applications will be discussed during the presentation.

Senior Business Development Manager, ATAL Technologies Ltd

Mr. Derek So is Business Development Manager of Information and Communication Technologies at ATAL, specialising in the areas of ICT, IoT and smart city solutions. Derek holds a MBA degree from the University of London and a Bachelor’s degree of Electronic Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining ATAL, Derek has more than 25 years of experience in Innovation and Technology at multiple MNCs, including Motorola, NEC, Huawei and SmarTone. With extensive experience in the Hong Kong and greater China market, Derek has been in various leadership positions for driving the telecom and ICT solutions business.

 

 

LED Screens & Video Technology

LED display technology are becoming increasingly popular in property management as they provide a cost-effective way to communicate with tenants and visitors.  LED display can be used to display important information such as emergency notifications, and tenant notices, they can also be used to display promotional messages such as discount and special offers.  Property managers can use LED displays to monitor and control access to building, as well as to provide security alerts.  Property agent can utilize LED display to create an immersive environment for demonstration purpose.  LED displays are a great way to improve communication and efficiency in property management.

Flavio Chu is a Sales Director with over eighteen years of experience in LED industry.  He has a proven track record of success in selling products and services to businesses in designated territories as well as leading product development projects, brainstorming for new ways to improve products, and moving innovative ideas from concept into high volume production.  Flavio has a MBA degree from the University of Hong Kong and Bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
