PRESIDENTS VIEW continued

In pursuit of this Goal, I met with the current President of the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management, the Chairman of the Property and Facility Management Committee of the HKIS and the Chairman of the RICS, to talk about our Goals and Objectives and the intention of greater collaboration across the FM stakeholders. All parties warmly welcomed this initiative and the Professional Liaison Committee of the Hong Kong Chapter is now working out an action plan to take this forward.

This is positive news and I think represents the beginning of the future for the FM professional bodies in Hong Kong.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Chapter a Happy Birthday. The Chapter was chartered on September 14th, 1992.
