Destined
to become one of Hong Kong's
"must do" attractions,
Ngong Ping 360 represents the
largest single cableway project
in history. Opening in early
2006, the cableway will be integrated
with a themed village development,
providing a major new attraction
to complement the Big Buddha
and Po Lin Monastery a Ngong
Ping.
Skyrail
ITM will manage the cableway
operation and themed village
on behalf of the owners, MTR
Corporation Limited. Skyrail
ITM has intensive experience
in managing cableway and has
won a number of awards over
the years.
Mr.
Ken Chapman, Managing Director
of Skyrail ITM, will provide
insights to the concept of this
tourist attraction and the difference
between cableways in Australia
and Hong Kong. He will also
share with us some of the opportunities
and challenges in managing cableways.
