Job Description:

  • To manage facility management (FM) service delivery including maintenance, hygiene, security, reception, customer services, project management, etc. to a prestigious commercial premises
  • To implement all standard procedures & control systems on site & ensure that they are strictly followed by FM site team and contractors
  • To handle client relationship management to ensure their satisfaction with performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Facility / Property Management, Real Estate, Engineering or related discipline
  • Professional membership of relevant organization preferred (IFMA, HKIFM, HKIS, RICS, BIFM, CIH, HKIH, HKIE, CIBSE, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Facility / Management or related discipline with 2 years at managerial level
  • Strong in management, organization, communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both written & spoken English and Chinese

Responsibilities:

DCM will be responsible for managing all Data Centre and Comms Room on the Client projects.  In this capacity, the DCM is accountable for:

  • Managing the operational budgets and delivery
  • Managing risks and audits for all Critical Environment Management and managing implemented energy saving efficiencies
  • Managing Client Comms Rooms planned preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance and subcontractor maintenance
  • Managing a proactive approach to resolve all day-to-day problems within the Client Comms Rooms contract
  • Assisting in planning and execution of powerdown maintenance weekends and equipment upgrades
  • Managing compliance for all Health & Safety policies in all areas within the Client Comms Rooms
  • Managing and enforce a permit-to-work system for all staff and all sub-contractors
  • Managing, reviewing and updating all emergency procedures

Requirement:

  • A minimum ONC/BTEC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering and/or appropriate job related and building services experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in managing, operating or designing critical environments and have electrical knowledge
  • Strong management / supervisory experience with customer and leadership skills
  • Sound understanding of Data Centre and Comms Room Management and an ability to translate that understanding into advice
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to priorities work and meet tight deadlines
  • Sound computer skills in Microsoft Office, MS project & excel
  • Immediate available preferred

1.
Free:

The job must be by the posting company, not an agent.  The name of the company must be disclosed and the contact person must be an employee of that company.  The company must have at least one IFMA HK Chapter member in its employ.

 

2.
HK$150 for 60 days:
a)

Conditions as above but the company wishes to remain anonymous and/or wishes to have IFMA HK act as the contact to receive enquiries.  

 

b) The IFMA HK Chapter member is acting as an agent on behalf of another party.

 

3.
HK$300 for 60 days:
