Session Description: | ||
Management of Planning, Design, Operation and Maintenance of Data Centre facilities is an emerging trend towards the world that requires a holistic view of strategic process to integrate all Stakeholders’ interests and demands. This session will set out the challenges of managing large facilities for a corporate data centre with an emphasis on ensuring reliability and availability of facility management strategies. It will outline day-to-day data center operational objectives and how to implement facilities upgrade and the adoption of new technology with minimal business disruption. |

Speaker Profile: | ||
David is the Vice President of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) in charge of the Administration Department and the HKEx property portfolio including several data centres and offices in Hong Kong and Mainland China. David holds a Master Degree in Economics and Management and is a qualified Architect. He has over 20 years’ experience in the property development and facility management industry, working in the public and private sector and financial institutions. Before joining HKEx, David held senior management positions at The Link REIT, Knight Frank and MTR Corporation and worked on several major property development and infrastructure projects in Hong Kong, Mainland China and across Asia.
