Johnny Yip

Hon. Secretary, Hong Kong Chapter of IFMA

Johnny Yip was co-opted to the Chapter Board of Directors during the chapter year 2008 / 2009, due to his work on the Conference Committee and the Professional Development Committee.

He is also a member of the Organising Committee and Jury Sub-Committee of Quality Building Award 2010, representing IFMA.

Johnny Yip has been active in facilities management since 1999 as an academic and practitioner.

He gained extensive integrated facilities management experience through managing a mixed portfolio of prestigious properties from site takeovers to the existing buildings management, which included Cyberport's, AIG Tower’s, 100 Queen's Road Central's site takeovers, Australian International School, AsiaSat's Earth Station, APT's Tower 3, West Island School, Singapore International School, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, etc, and achieved an integrated interface and smooth operations among engineering, security and customer services teams, project consultants and main / fit-out contractors.

He is also carrying out part-time teaching of an advanced diploma course in Facility & Property Management in HKU SPACE with the aim at nurturing more facilities management professionals in the field.
