| Objective of role |
|
Reporting and deputy to the Senior Facilities Manager and based on-site at the client’s office in Hong Kong, you will be responsible to provide technical and management support for critical system delivery and overall operations of client’s portfolio in Hong Kong. You will also manage the maintenance of critical electrical and mechanical systems for the client’s Data Centers and other business critical systems. The duties include:
- Act as the first point of contact for all critical system issues in Hong Kong for the client.
- Assist to manage a team of facilities professionals for premium service delivery.
- Ensure statutory compliance and operational availability of the critical systems engineering infrastructure.
- Execute critical systems driven projects and manage external contractors, vendors and consultants.
Review and prepare engineering design, operation and maintenance documentation and reports. |

| Requirements |
|
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 4 years in-depth real estate and facilities operations experience, data center exposure in an organization with multiple locations at managerial / supervisory level with bilingual capability in English and Chinese, strong business acumen and outstanding written and oral communications skills. Experience in banking environment preferred.
- Familiar with local engineering practice, governmental regulations and statutory requirements. Broad understanding of critical systems infrastructure, technology needs and requirements, commercial construction industry practices, maintenance contracts, and budget/schedule management.
- Highly motivated. Proactive & innovative, displaying the drive and energy required to meet the continuous challenges this role will present. Excellent inter-personal, people management and business skills, together with a strong desire to lead by example and firm belief in the power of teamwork.
- Strong client service and relationship management skills, with the ability to challenge and influence senior business leaders while being co-operative and collaborative in style.
- Experienced negotiator, used to managing multiple vendors and ensuring exceptional service delivery in a demanding commercial framework.
- Proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office software. Hands-on experience in AutoCAD preferred.
- Work after office hour / weekend is required for critical projects and incident management support.
